The "Topics" page lists the current topics for the current forum.

A topic is a posting made by a user and any other postings made as replies to the topic.

If you want to receive email notifications about new postings or other changes to a topic, toggle the "Watch this topic" button with the little eye icon. Toggle it again to stop watching a topic.
