That and of course the onomatopoeia that are used all the time in everyday life. Why do I want you to learn Japanese through conversation? Well for example in a Japanese textbook なぜ皆さんに日本語の会話から勉強して欲しいかというと、例えば日本語の文法書には naze minasan ni nihongo no kaiwa kara benkyou shite hoshī ka to iu to, tatoeba nihongo no bunpou sho ni wa
it says "Choose the most tekitou answer" 一番適当な言葉を選んでくださいと書いてありますよね ichi ban tekitou na kotoba o erande kudasai to kaite arimasu yo ne
This "tekitou" means "accurate/appropriate" but But the "tekitou" we use in everyday life means "randomly" で、ここの「適当」の意味は「正確に」（せいかくに）の意味ですけど、 僕たちが日常会話で使う「適当に」の意味は「ランダムに」の意味があります de, koko no “tekitou” no imi wa “seikaku ni” (seikaku ni) no imi desu kedo, bokutachi ga nichijou kaiwa de tsukau “tekitou ni” no imi wa “randamu ni” no imi ga arimasu
basically the meanings of "accurately" and "randomly" are completely opposite つまり、その「正確に」と「ランダムに」の意味が全く反対な意味があります tsumari, sono “seikaku ni” to “randamu ni” no imi ga mattaku hantai na imi ga arimasu

That something was that the stuff written in the grammar book or a textbook それは何かというと、文法の本に書かれていることや教科書に書かれていること sore wa nanika to iu to, bunpou no hon ni kakarete iru koto ya kyoukasho ni kakarete iru koto
was not enough for real life conversation, it wasn't the language everybody's using これだけでは、本当に日常生活では全然 通用しない、全然 kore dake de wa, hontou ni nichijou seikatsu de wa zenzen tsūyou shinai, zenzen
And I noticed I can't make conversation in Chinese その中国語で他の人と会話することができないということに気がつきました sono chūgokugo de hoka no hito to kaiwa suru koto ga dekinai to iu koto ni kigatsu kimashita

more like the language used in everyday life and I thought this method was not bad 日常生活にもたくさん使えるって言うことがわかって、やっぱりこの勉強の方法は間違ってないなぁと思いました nichijou seikatsu ni mo takusan tsukaeru tte iu koto ga wakatte, yappari kono benkyou no houhou wa machigatte nai naa to omoimashita

We use them all the time. Also on products, food とってもたくさん使っています。 あとは商品、食べ物とか、そういった tottemo takusan tsukatte imasu. a toha shouhin, tabemono toka, souitta
In the names of things we use loads of onomatopoeia 名前のところ、名前にも、そのオノマトペが使われています namae no tokoro, namae ni mo, sono onomatope ga tsukawarete imasu
That's why from the viewpoint of wanting to understand the real Japanese language people use learning onomatopoeia is very important. Also I mentioned it a million times already but they're so hard to translate ですので、オノマトペを勉強することは、日本人の話す言葉を理解する上で、 とっても大切です。あとそれは、何回も言いましたけど、他の言語で説明することがとても難しいです desu node, onomatope o benkyou suru koto wa, nihonjin no hanasu kotoba o rikai suru jou de, tottemo taisetsu desu. ato soreha, nankaimo iimashita kedo, hoka no gengo de setsumei suru koto ga totemo muzukashiidesu
