Today, I'm going to talk about something a lot of you had been asking me about, which is my Japanese learning experience. 今日はですね たくさんの方々が気になる 私の日本語勉強の体験談について 話していきたいと思います! kyou wa desu ne takusan no katakata ga ki ni naru watashi no nihongo benkyou no taikendan ni tsuite hanashite ikitai to omoimasu!
It's been 2 and a half years since I first started learning Japanese. 気がつくと、自分で日本語を勉強しはじめてからちょうど二年半が経ちました。 kigatsukuto, jibunde nihongo o benkyou shi hajimete kara choudo ni nen han ga tachimashita.
In the past 2 years, I have been asked numerous questions about my learning Japanese. ここ二年半では、日本語の勉強について色々な質問を聞かれていましたよね。 koko ni nen han de wa, nihongo no benkyou ni tsuite iroiro na shitsumon o kikarete imashita yo ne.
Today, I am going to answer those questions one by one! 今日はそれらを一つ一つに答えていきますので、どうぞ宜しくお願い致します。 kyou wa sorera o hitotsu hitotsu ni kotaete ikimasu no de, douzo yoroshiku onegai itashimasu.
The first question is, "What made you want to study Japanese? ” "How long have you been learning Japanese?" 先ず最初に 「日本語を勉強したいと思ったきっかけはなんでしょう?どのくらい日本語を勉強してるの?」 mazu saisho ni “nihongo o benkyou shitai to omotta kikkake wa nan deshou? dono kurai nihongo o benkyou shiteru no? ”
These are classic questions I get all the time. というのがお決まりの質問ですね。 to iu no ga okimari no shitsumon desu ne.
In fact, they come up during job interviews over and over again. これは実際に面接でもよく出てくる質問ですけれども kore wa jissai ni mensetsu de mo yoku dete kuru shitsumon desu keredomo
Normally when I'm asked these questions, I don't really know how to respond. 普段にはこれを聞かれるとまとまった答えをなかなか出せませんよね fudan ni wa kore o kikareru to matomatta kotae o nakanaka dasemasen yo ne
Because, I didn't just develop a strong desire to learn Japanese out of the blue, But rather, as I continued my Japanese studies, I met a lot of wonderful Japanese people and friends, and that gave me the strength and motivation to continue learning Japanese. なぜかというと、私の場合は ある日いきなり日本語勉強したいという決心がついたわけではなくて むしろ勉強すればするほど、色々な素晴らしい日本人の方と触れ合え 日本語を勉強したいというモチベーションが強くなったわけですね naze ka to iu to, watashi no bāi wa aru hi ikinari nihongo benkyou shitai to iu kesshin ga tsuita wake de wa nakute mushiro benkyou sureba suru hodo, iroiro na subarashī nihonjin no kata to fureae nihongo o benkyou shitai to iu mochibēshon ga tsuyoku natta wake desu ne
When I first went to Japan, it was 2 and a half years ago, during the summer of 2012. 初めて日本に行ったのは、それは二年半前で2012年の夏でしたよね hajimete nihon ni itta no wa, sore wa ni nen han mae de 2012 nen no natsu deshita yo ne
My dad took me along with him to his business trip to Tokyo. 父の出張でついで日本に連れて行かされました chichi no shucchou de tsuide nihon ni tsurete ika saremashita
At that time, I did not speak ANY Japanese. Zilch. その時の日本語のレベルは、ゼロ! sono tokino nihongo no reberu wa, zero!
As a Chinese girl, I viewed Japan as a country that uses Chinese characters, so I thought I didn't need to learn the language and I would get by just fine during my Japan trip. 中国出身の私からしてみれば 日本は一応漢字が通用する国だから日本語勉強しなくて済むだろう という甘い考えを持って日本に行ってしまったんですよ。 chūgoku shusshin no watashi karashite mireba nihon wa ichi ou kanji ga tsūyou suru kuni dakara nihongo benkyou shinakute sumudarou toiu umai kangae o motte nihon ni itte shimatta ndesu yo.
However, when I went to Japan I didn't understand ANYTHING, and got lost in the streets. 結局何もわからなくて kekkyoku nanimo wakaranakute
When I tried to speak English with them, it turned out not to be an effective way of communication either. 道で迷ったり、 英語喋ってみても相手にわかってもらえず michi de mayottari, eigo shabette mite mo aite ni wakatte morae zu
I couldn't even order food at restaurants. ということで、お店で注文することすらできなかったわけですね toiu koto de, omise de chūmon suru koto sura dekinakatta wake desu ne
It was a lot tougher than I initially thought. 想像以上に大変でしたよ souzou ijou ni taihen deshita yo
Yet, the Japanese people were very kind and treated me with respect and hospitality. それでも、日本人はとても優しくしてくれたのに soredemo, nihonjin wa totemo yasashiku shite kureta no ni
As a foreigner who couldn't even express my gratitude, I felt very embarrassed. きちんとしたお礼すら返せない私はとてもはずかしかったんですよ kichinto shita orei sura kaesenai watashi wa totemo hazukashikatta n desu yo
